How we serve

We offer support and resources through our Continuing Education program, Peer Consultation opportunities, and membership in our online network known as the Collective. In all these ways, we seek to join with God’s people as we saturate Columbia with His love and healing.

If you are a licensed therapist, a staff member of a local church, or a trained volunteer, Care Cola is here for you! Caregiving in every capacity is a divine assignment with many intrinsic rewards. But it can also bring unexpected and challenging seasons. Those who provide safety, hope, and healing for others can find themselves experiencing isolation and even burnout. Peer relationships, skilled support, and opportunities for growth and learning are essential to our success as caregivers and our well-being as individuals. So, whether you’ve found us while down in the trenches or on top of the world, we invite you to invest in yourself, your community, and your clients or care receivers by joining Care Cola.

Peer Consultation Groups

Peer Consultation groups are offered prior to each of our continuing education events. These monthly groups are intended to provide a forum for licensed therapists to meet their ethical obligation for consultation within a safe and confidential environment. Participants can present their most complicated cases and challenging questions to their trusted colleagues and obtain valuable counsel and feedback. Consultation is an essential component of professional integrity and general wellness. It improves clinical skills, fosters meaningful connections, and serves an important role in self-care and prevention.

Whether you’ve been in practice for 3 months or 30 years, there’s always more to learn and another perspective to take. Stay sharp and benefit from the knowledge and experience of other therapists by registering for one of our peer consultation groups.

  • Groups are held from 5:45-6:45 pm
  • Registration with a signed confidentiality agreement is required of all participants
  • Participation is exclusively offered to members of the Collective
  • A maximum of 8 participants per group
